Andy Blackwood

Andy Blackwood is a retired high school history teacher who lives in Simcoe with his wife Cara.

He volunteers at the Norfolk General Hospital, for Canadian Blood Services, is a member of the 100 Men Who Care, and since 2012 has been a volunteer for the NHS. He has been on the Board of Directors for six years, the last three as President.

He has a passionate interest in history, politics social justice causes and in working to involve young people in the appreciation of their history and heritage, as well as making them politically and socially aware of the world around them.
