Bob was born and raised in Norfolk County. The first 16 years were spent in Waterford and the next 6 in Port Dover. After 27 years in the Hamilton/Burlington area Bob returned to Norfolk County where he spent 12 years in the Delhi area. In 2002 his family moved to Simcoe and have been there since. Bob and his wife, Susan, have enjoyed being residents of Norfolk County and enjoy showing venues in the county to their visiting friends.
Bob has had 2 careers in his lifetime. For 35 years, his career was dedicated to the accounting profession or variations thereof. Bob’s accounting background can help keep NHS on track financially. His second career was one of a cook and provides little, if any, constructive knowledge to the society. Bob feels the combination of careers makes him a more well-rounded individual with the ability to provide a different perspective to the board.
Bob admits he is uncertain of the direction of the society and currently it seems that the board is trying hard to define the role of the society through intense discussion. When these issues are resolved he feels he can then better define his role in building a strong well focused society.
